Major was found a a stray and was taken in by a very nice family, sadly they could no longer keep major due to their lifestyle. Major is a typical German Shepherd and is territorial and needs someone who is able to redirect and focus these behaviors into something positive. He needs to be placed in a home with children over the age of 12 so they can be active members of continued training. He will need a kind but firm hand that will set very clear and strict boundaries as he progresses in training, once he learns what is expected of him he no longer displays guarding behavior. Has been in a foster home and the bad behavior is gone with proper redirection and plenty of exercise.  He is active and healthy, has strong drive, and very eager to please just needs guidance. Good with cats and loves to play.
